Sarah was privileged to ride some of the Brookhouse Stud stallions at their stallion show in Erbach. A wonderful show was put on by Brookhouse Stud.
More than 1700 guests made their way to Gestüt Rollehof in Erbach to watch live the 10 year jubilium stallion show. The show started with Scottish bagpipes played by the brilliant Odenwald Pipes and Drums. The show was choreographed around the 10 years starting with 99 and a beautiful performance from Fürtenreich to the theme of Wild Mustang. 2000 was celebrated with Silvano’s silver medal in Sydney the 24 year old was in an impressive condition and is still a credit to his rider Ellen Bontje. 2001 Chequille and Sarah wowed the crowd with technical Grand Prix movements and breathtaking natural movement. 2002 Emma performed her debut torch number with Chequille she said “Its amazing to think that all my horses have now performed this routine and not one has ever let me down I am honoured to ride such horses”
2003 was naturally Wie Weltmeyer’s year he was presented with a rug for his life achievements including team bronze in Hickstead. 2004 was the year Brookhouse came to the Rollehof and Andreas Müller pulled out all the stops with Latouro. Andreas is a true horse man not only did he show the 22 year old Latouro over a line of jumps he also took the saddle off while doing so!!! Just amazing he is a phenomenon. 2005 Emma and Fifty Cent showed the scale of training for a young horse the 5 year old “Black pearl” showed his ability to collect with large working pirouettes, counter canter and the odd flying change. 2006 the mega athletic Ampere showed the audience just why he is the best in Holland. 2007 Emma and Diamond Hit showed some great work showing what a real partnership between horse and rider is all about. 2009 Lancet and Sarah showed what dressage at the highest level is all about.
